Residential volunteering is perfect if you are located near one of our three sites. Feros Care Residential Villages at Bangalow, and Wommin Bay are always on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help out in fun, educational and exciting roles. Be part of village life, have a cup of tea with the residents, help them engage in activities, play a game of scrabble or take part in one of our events. Knowing our residents it could be anything from a bake off, silent disco, Thai Chair, laughter yoga, graffiti or a trip to the beach.
Wommin Bay
Feros Village Wommin Bay has just recently undergone wonderful renovations, and the atmosphere is always bubbly with something exciting going on. Wommin Bay Village is beautifully situated near the ocean, with a nature reserve and sports field as its closest neighbours and strong bodies and mobility as its key focus. The village also has a dedicated dementia section.
Bangalow
Feros Village Bangalow is home to some of our higher care level residents, with round-the-clock assistance available should they need it. Bangalow Village is located in the hinterland region just 15 minutes from Byron Bay, set in beautifully maintained gardens with walking paths, expansive views, and a relaxing atmosphere.
