In Great Company has had an exciting year of new adventures and challenges. With help from our wonderful volunteers, we’ve had new opportunities to learn and grow, and from you sharing your stories, we’ve managed to put together a
wonderful manual to support our volunteers.
The manual was put together to provide some helpful tips and tricks, helping volunteers to not only get started on their journey but as a valuable refresher for existing volunteers. The manual provides sections detailing what to do if you have
a concern over a client’s welfare, including the best contacts and some ways you might response to certain situations. It gives ideas for how to approach a client and build rapport with them, as well as some activities you can do together.
We at In Great Company value our volunteers and aim to provide them the best support and training we can to ensure visits go smoothly, and matches with clients are a success.
